What is your favourite place in the region?
– I love taking guests to Verdens Ende (World’s End). It is beautiful every time, and it really shows how unique this coastal landscape is. On the way, we stop by a local favourite, Tjøme Kolonial.
What is your favourite activity or experience?
– A sailing trip in the archipelago or an evening swim after a spa visit. It gives you a real sense of freedom and closeness to nature.
Any hiking tips?
– Moutmarka and Hvasser offer spectacular walks with sea views and rich coastal nature.
What local speciality should guests try?
– At Engø Gård, we focus on serving the best of land and sea, always based on seasonal ingredients. And you absolutely have to try the fresh shrimp from Færder – ideally eaten straight from the bag on the rocks at Tjøme.
