- Agder, with Kristiansand as the capital of the southern coast, is all about summer, sunshine, and coastal life. The region offers a rich mix of art, culture, and historical heritage.
What is your favourite place in the region?
- I have several, but I recommend Tømmerrenna in Vennesla, the Kunstsilo art museum in Kristiansand, the Setesdal Railway, and Kilden Performing Arts Centre.
What is your favourite activity or experience?
- Why rush, when you can find calm at Boen? Enjoy the historic park, a good glass by the boathouse, or simply embrace the stillness of the forest surroundings.
Any hiking tips?
- Explore local hiking trails marked in yellow and red, visit the ancient Mollestad Oak, or take a trip to Bygland where fjords and mountains meet.
What local speciality should guests try?
- Boen Gård and Under represent the highest level of dining experiences in the region. Both offer Michelin-recognised cuisine and unforgettable gastronomic moments.
