Are you planning to visit our hotels or restaurants this summer? Share your finest summer snapshot on Instagram for a chance to win one of our tailor-made getaways in Norway!

We're looking for pictures of:

The best hotel view
The best dining experience
Activities in the area
The best driving experience

Prize: If you end up as the main winner, you get to choose your prize from all our short breaks in Norway. All you need to provide is your own transportation.

As a bonus, we'll also draw some lucky winners along the way, each receiving a gift card worth 1500 kr from De Historiske.

The main winner will be drawn on September 1st.

Terms & Conditions

To be eligible to participate in the drawing, the picture must have been taken at or near our historic hotels, restaurants, or historic ships.

By tagging the picture and/or sending it to us via email, you agree to the following terms and conditions for this competition:

• All participants must have taken the photos they upload themselves and have the rights to share them. If there are individuals in the picture, you must obtain their permission for the photos to be published. Permission from guardians must be obtained in advance for children under 15 years of age.

• De Historiske is in no way responsible for claims related to a picture that is published on Instagram or sent to us via email for the purpose of participating in the competition. Participants are responsible for any claims that arise from the use of the picture.

• To participate, you must either upload photos on Instagram and tag them with #noeavdetbeste2024 or send them via email to us at: [email protected]. Please write "De Historiske Photo Contest" in the subject line. Remember that you must have a public Instagram account to participate.

• The competition period is from June 19th to September 1st, 2024. Pictures submitted after this period will not be considered. There will be one main winner and round winners along the way. Winners will be contacted, and the pictures will be shared on De Historiske's own channels.

• Winners will be selected based on the theme of the competition and at the discretion of the judges. The jury consists of members and representatives from De Historiske. Winners are responsible for paying any taxes on the prizes.

• De Historiske reserves the right to share all submissions received in its own channels, such as social media and dehistoriske.no. Photographers will be credited.
