Welcome to Børsen in Drammen, a historical and stately setting, perfect for functions, events, courses, conferences or weddings.

The Stock Exchange building was designed by Emil Victor Langlet, the architect behind the design of the parliament building and Drammen theatre. After its completion in 1871, Børsen became the centre of trading in Drammen. The venerable building has provided the setting for major events throughout its history, dating back to when Graham Bell presented the very first telephone, through Royal visits, business meetings, anniversaries, weddings and other celebrations.

The building has a very central location in Drammen city centre, nearby the bridge that unites both sides of the Drammen river. With such a central location, you are close by the train station for trains to the airport and other forms of public transport.

The delightful and elegant rooms are complemented by high quality food and service. The experienced chefs use top quality, fresh and local produce, and the tables are delicately laid with white linen and napkins and tableware in keeping with the historical surroundings.

The hosts at Børsen, head waitress Therese Simensen and chef Ståle Simensen, will help you throughout your event, from the planning stage until the very end. They can also provide the services of a decorator to help you style your event. With a good working relationship with local breweries they can also offer an enticing selection of local beers.
