A UNESCO World Heritage site

In Bryggestredet at the heart of Bryggen in Bergen is Bryggen Tracteursted, dating from 1708 and reopened with respect for its historic surroundings and it is famous around the world. A “must see” for all visitors to Bergen.

Bryggen Tracteursted is an intimate à la carte restaurant with modern cuisine inspired by the food culture of Bergen and the Hanseatic League. In its historic premises it introduces guests to local specialities. Allow yourself to be tempted by the choice of ‘tasty bites’ – Norwegian tapas – and a wide range of international beers in the restaurant's "Skjenkestue".

During the summer months Tracteurstedet offers a quiet, open-air restaurant in the back courtyard, and outside tables in Bryggestredet.
