Culinary stay at Boen Gård
Situated a few kilometres from the coast of Southern Norway, you find the elegant and quaint Boen Gård.
Here, you are welcomed into elegant rooms filled with charm and heritage, surrounded by peaceful parkland and the calm rhythm of Southern Norway. From the moment you arrive, the setting invites you to slow down and settle in.
Before dinner, a visit to the wine cellar sets the tone for the evening. After the traditional sabrage, a glass of Champagne follows – the opening chapter of a culinary journey in the hotel’s Michelin-recommended restaurant. Here, a carefully composed 6-course chef’s menu is served, shaped by season, technique, and a deep respect for ingredients. The kitchen draws heavily on its own surroundings. Vegetables, apples, berries, herbs, and honey are harvested from the estate’s gardens, while lamb from the surrounding landscape and wild salmon from the Tovdal River form part of the seasonal menu. The result is a cuisine defined by origin and clarity of flavour.
From March 2026, the kitchen will be led by head chef Gabriele Natali and his partner and sous chef Lucia Wu, both bringing extensive experience from highly regarded restaurants in Italy.
