Which packages can I choose from?

  • Day cruise on the Oslo Fjord 
    Only includes fjord cruise tickets

  • Day cruise on the Oslo Fjord with lunch
    A round trip to Oscarsborg with lunch at the Fortress. A guided tour is included when travelling Mondays to Fridays.

  • Day cruise on the Oslo Fjord with dinner 
    A round trip to Oscarsborg with dinner at the Fortress 

  • Day cruise on the Oslo Fjord with accommodation
    A round trip to Oscarsborg with accommodation and dinner at Oscarsborg Fortress and return tickets to Oslo the next day.

    Oscarsborg Museums consists of the Fortress Museum, the Coastal Artillery Museum, the Firing Commandpost, the Torpedo Battery, and the Cannon Park. Entrance to the museums is included in all tours.

    Guided tours are not included in any other tours than the lunch cruises going from Monday to Friday, but it is also possible to get a digital sound tour from your own mobile.

    You can also use your ticket on the ferry that runs between Oscarsborg and Drøbak once an hour. The crossing only takes about 5 minutes. Just be sure to be back at Oscarsborg in time for the departure back to Oslo.

Where does the boat depart from? 
The boat departs from the Port of Oslo/Langkaia. Langkaia is located in the Oslo city center. You can easily get here by train, metro, tram or bus. Oslo S and Jernbanetorget are located only a few minutes away. See map here.

Can I bring children?
Children up to 3 years old travel for free. You only pay for any meals along the way. However, remember to enter the exact number of children when ordering, so that the carrier has the correct number of passengers on board at all times.

Children from 4 years old to 15 years old receive a 50% discount.

Can I bring my dog / kayak / bicycle?
Yes, this can be brought for a supplement in price (NOK 100, - per piece).

Can I bring my wheelchair / walker / pram? 
The boat is suitable for prams and a limited number of wheelchairs.

Is there any meal service aboard?
Yes, you can purchase food and drinks aboard the ship.

How long does the fjord cruise last?
The fjord cruise takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes each way. See here for timetables.

Can I embark and disembark as I please? 
The fjord cruise packages have a set travel itinerary. Make sure to be back before the scheduled departure time.

Can I purchase tickets aboard the boat?
At availability, you can purchase tickets to the fjord cruise aboard the boat. 

All packages that include meals and guiding must be pre-ordered to ensure quantity for lunch and guided tours in advance.

Tickets must therefore be purchased by 14:00, 3 days before departure.
