A home away from home
The venerable Hotel Victoria first opened in July 1900. Here you can enjoy a glass of champagne under the same chandelier as King Haakon VII and Queen Maud did in 1906. Or how about enjoying the same view from your hotel room as the King of Siam did in 1907?
The hotel has a fantastic location in the city center, with everything Stavanger has to offer of culture, restaurants and city life right outside your door. From the harbor you can take the ferry to visit Lysefjorden, or why not visit the tropical gardens at Flor and Fjære?
Hotel Victoria has 107 hotel rooms including 3 suites, a restaurant, a cocktail bar and modern meeting facilities. Parts of the hotel are preserved and are an important part of Stavanger's architecture and history. This means that all rooms vary in size and design. The historical perspective is also reflected in the interior - for example, in the beautiful wooden floor and the large windows - the perfect starting point for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
