What is included in the day cruise?

• A great day cruise on the fjord coast - in a comfortable catamaran

How do I get to the dock?

The boat departs from Strandkaien in the heart of Bergen city centre. The dock is located close to Opus XVI. If you’re staying at Solstrand Hotel & Bad, you’ll be picked up from the hotel’s dock.


Is parking available at the dock?
If you arrive by car, you can park in KlosterGarasjen, centrally located in Bergen city centre, just a five-minute walk from the dock. Or in Bygarasjen by the train and bus terminal, approx. 10 minutes away.


Can I bring my dog?

No, unfortunately not.


Is there any meal service on the boat?

Yes, you can purchase food and drinks at the boat.


How long does the fjord cruise last?

The tour, including sights, lasts 7 hours and 15 min with return to Bergen.
The roundtrip from Solstrand lasts 4 hours and 30 min.

Departure at 10:15 from Bergen and arrival at 17:30.
Departure at 11:15 from Solstrand and arrival at 15:45.


Is dinner included in the tours?

Dinner is not included in the daytrip package.

The accommodation package at Opus XVI included dinner on the second day. In the accommodation package at Solstrand, dinner is included both days.


Can I hop on and off the boat as I please?
The fjord cruise has a set schedule and stops. Make sure to be back before the scheduled departure.


Can I purchase tickets at the boat?
All packages need to be booked in advance with regard to number of lunch guests and guided tours.

Tickets need to be purchased before 22:00 the night before departure.
