Of all the wines in the world, perhaps three stand out from the rest in France and the rest of the world: the Bordeaux and Burgundy wines and champagne. In the region of Bordeaux, farmers have grown grapes for more than 2000 years!
On a visit to one of our member hotels, you have the opportunity to taste your way through these wines, made from different types of grape – from European to new world wines. Many of our member hotels have vast wine cellars with an impressive range of quality wines.
Several of our member hotels provide wine tasting – the perfect overture to a gourmet meal. Our wine experts will take you on a tour of the different districts, grapes and backgrounds. Or how about a tasting session of Norwegian aquavit or Scottish whisky?
