Fjord tour in historic surroundings

Day 1. Distance: 30 km
Arrive/depart Bergen. Drive to Os and spend the night at Solstrand Hotel & Bad, a jewel by the fjord. Book an hour or two in the hotel’s relaxation centre or go for a walk in the beautiful surroundings.

Day 2. Distance: 129 km
Os to Hardanger. Drive to Rosendal and visit historic Rosendal Barony before continuing to Odda and then Utne. Remember to break your journey at Agatunet before arriving in Utne. Spend the night at one ofNorway’s oldest hotel, Utne Hotel, with wonderful views of the Hardangerfjord.

Day 3. Distance: 65 km
Utne to Voss. Take the ferry across the fjord and drive to Voss. Spend the night at Fleischer´s Hotel. Experience the many cultural and scenic attractions

Day 4. Distance: 87 km
Voss to Balestrand. Drive over the Vikafjellet and spend the night at Kvikne´s Hotel in Balestrand. Kvikne’s Hotel is Norway’s largest timber-built hotel, with glorious panoramic views of the Sognefjord, the world’s longest fjord.

Day 5. Distance: 190 km
Balestrand to Bergen. Drive to Bergen and experience the old Hanseatic wharf at Bryggen, the Mount Fløyen and the famous fish market. Stay at the intimate Hotel Park or the magnificent Grand Hotel Terminus.
