Fløien Folkerestaurant

Historic Restaurant in Bergen

Fløien Folkerestaurant – 320 metres above sea level – has a spectacular architecture and location, a true attraction.

The Fløyen mountain has been a popular excursion for locals and visitors for centuries. The building was completed on 13 July 1925, forming a landmark for Bergen at the top of the most popular of the seven mountains. The beautiful architecture was designed to the tiniest detail, including ornamentation and interior, by Einar Oscar Schou. The restaurant has now been reverently restored, with respect for the architect’s way of thinking, but fitted with modern comforts.
