Geotourism

Geotourism is tourism based on location, local specialities, environment, cultural, aesthetic and heritage. Historic Hotels and Restaurants members have for generations played and important part in their local community. 

Co-operation with local agricultural, business and the local population is our trademark. Our members work with the local community to offer the tourist the ultimate guest  experience.
The guidelines for geo-tourism are developed by National Geographic and Historic Hotels asso-ciates with these guidelines for running of these establishments. At the same time we wish to de-velop according to these guidelines. It is important for us to strengthen our offer within the geo-tourism area.
