The Walaker Hotel lies at Solvorn in the Indre Sogn region. The hotel has been run by the same family since 1690, and the 8th and 9th generations are the current proprietors.

To mark the family’s 300th anniversary, a large art gallery, Galleri Walaker 300, was opened in the old building in the grounds. The gallery has a new exhibition every summer, with works from Norwegian artists on display. With its tranquil atmosphere and attractive location by the Luster Fjord, the Walaker Hotel is an ideal destination for those in search of peace and quiet..

The hotel offers accommodation in 23 rooms in three buildings. The fourth building, in the grounds, consists of an art gallery and course premises. Beach lying in a protected inlet on the Luster Fjord, pictoresque gardens with roses and lilacs, rural ambience with piers and boathouses all providing hotel guests with pictoresque photographic motifs.

Other details: The hotel has course and conference facilities in the old "Tingstova", built in 1650.
