Røros in the summer

Pay a visit to Vertshuset Røros this summer. Røros is the centre of this region and includes the unique and protected mining village which was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1980. Although an historical monument, Røros is a lively community with an exciting arts and handicrafts group, many small charming shops and several workshops with sale of products.

We have a traditional Røros courtyard featuring the traditional stabbur or storehouse on pillars, a courtyard and an attic in which we have established 24 units which sleep a total of 65. All our accommodation units feature the traditional Røros style of décor, and are sheltered within the peaceful courtyard.

We take great pride in our cuisine, with an exciting à la carte menu based on local quality ingredients.
