Utne Hotel is a protected building and expansions or reconstructions are no longer permitted. This allows us to preserve this unique cultural treasure in its present condition and as it has been for almost 300 years.
This will also benefit both the local community and our visitors.
Cooperation with Hardanger Folk Museum, Aga Tradisjonsmat, Agatunet hamlet, Folgefonn glacier guide association, Måge farm shop – we make use of and promote their products – Hardanger Fjord Fruit, guided tours, visits to Lothe farm – introduction to and storytelling about fruit growing in Hardanger.
