Welcome to Sundvolden Hotel, one of Norway’s oldest hotels. A family-run establishment, founded on a set of unique values passed on from generation to generation. This beautiful building has opened its doors to travellers for over 350 years – tradesmen, farmers, artists, royalty and tourists from the furthest corners of the globe and from close by.

The hotel has an idyllic and scenic location in Ringerike, surrounded by the Tyrifjord and Steinsfjord, at the foot of Krokskogen forest and at the gateway to Nordmarka – a beautifully varied area catering for every type of outdoor pursuit.
