Cuisine at Strand Hotel Fevik

The culinary project “A taste of history” was initiated in the autumn of 2005.
Local history and culture have formed important foundations for this culinary project.

Throughout the entire project, the hotel’s talented team of chefs has worked systematically to locate and identify local expert suppliers of produce and foodstuffs, and to discover exciting historical dishes served during the hotel’s heyday under the management/ownership of Axel Lund.

The chefs have introduced concise regulations in order to safeguard their philosophy of using only fresh, local ingredients as far as possible. Ingredients shall also be seasonal, in order to achieve ultimate flavour.

Healthy and tasty foodstuffs are essential for chefs creating and serving top quality meals.
