Sola Strand Hotel & Geotourism

- Sola church ruins from the year 1120, restored and reopened in 1005. The Erling Skjalgsson monument is adjacent to the church. The church ruins are only 500 metres from the hotel.

- The “Sword in the rock” monument at Hafrsfjord, in memory of the battle which took place there in the year 872 when Norway was united into one nation. The monument is around 10 km from the hotel on the road heading into Stavanger centre.

- Bunkers and gun sites from World War II to be found along the stretch of coast near the hotel.
