Activities at Seljord Hotel

Hunting – we arrange hunting trips during the different hunting seasons.

Fishing – Fly fishing, fishing with rod, fishing from land or by boat.
Lavvo – We pitch our lavvo or tepee out on the mountains, by a lake or in the forest, food served.

Hot tub – Outdoors hot tub all year round.

Trails – Numerous trails. Varied gradients and length. You can choose. With and without waymarks. We can help plan an itinerary for you.

Horseriding – Horseriding with instruction or trips for more advanced riders.

Museum visits – The museums may open for groups outside of season.

Guided tour of Seljord history – church, Dyrsku festival site, sculptures.

Spa – Homeopath and physiotherapist, for individuals or specially tailored for groups based on number and requirements. Example: facial, massage, reflexology, relaxation, training in communication and cooperation skills.

Skiing – Transport to ski centre, or ski trips in Seljord and surrounding area.

Quiz night – quiz competition.

Canoeing – various lakes around Seljord.

Board games – We have a number of board games for our guests. Get comfy in the library and play a game with friends.

We also arrange trips to areas outside of Seljord municipality – museums, ski centres, various attractions etc. Please let us know if you have any other requests, and we will do our best to cater for these. The trips can be arranged with or without a guide.
