- Holmenkollen is not just a ski jump arena. It is also a tourist attraction. With well over one million visitors every year, Holmenkollen is one of Norway’s most popular destinations. From the start platform in the tower, 60 metres above ground and 417 metres above sea level, you get breathtaking views of both Nordmarka – an area for delightful walks – the city of Oslo and the islands in the Oslofjord.
- Buried deep within the mountainside beside the ski jump is the Ski Museum. This is the world’s oldest museum specialising in skiing and historical skiing equipment. It is owned and run by the Association for the Promotion of Skiing. Among the items exhibited is equipment from the Polar expeditions of Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen, the skis once used by the royal family, exhibits detailing the development of the ski jump and from the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 and 1994.
- Nordmarka is the perfect area for walks and outdoor pursuits. We cooperate with Destinasjon Holmenkollen to provide a full range of activities for individuals, families or groups, both summer and winter.
- Tryvann winter park is at the top of Holmenkollen, only a few minutes’ drive from Lysebu. This downhill skiing centre has a top range of facilities for all types of skier, with 14 varied slopes.
