The original property dates back 300 years to the timber trade cycle of growth and recession. Losby’s history as a large estate goes back to the mid-19th century. The old and new eras are reflected in the modern setting of the hotel. Royalty and landed gentry visited the region to hunt, and the estate was renowned for its generous hospitality to its guests. The present day proprietors seek to keep up this honourable tradition.

Losby Gods is only a 20-minute journey from Oslo, and half an hour from Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

Within the thick timber walls of the ancient main building are carefully renovated conference rooms, all with modern AV equipment. The reception rooms are in a style befitting old mansion houses, and the hotel is renowned for its wine cellar. The herb garden supplies its own products to the highly-acclaimed cuisine.
