At Kongsvold, you can purchase fishing licences for 3 fishing lakes and for the Driva, where you can try for trout. We can also arrange for a local guide to assist you on your fishing trip if required.

A new feature at the hotel is the possibility to combine a weekend stay with grouse hunting in some of the best grouse terrain you can imagine. Kongsvold has a limited number of daily hunting licences from 15 September to 1 October, and these can be purchased as part of a hunting package at Kongsvold Fjeldstue.
The area is also popular for hunting reindeer and you can purchase a hunting licence for reindeer at Statskog or community offices in Oppdal, Dovre and Folldal. Deadline for application for hunting licence in the autumn is 1 May.
