The elegant, classical style and sheer comfort give the hotel a special atmosphere. The hotel was built in 1928, and parts of it are subject to a preservation orderunder the Cultural Heritage Act. After busy days seeing the sights of Bergen, we recommend a visit to our Wellbeing Centre, where you can enjoy a relaxing jacuzzi, sauna and solarium. In one of Bergen’s most splendid bars, the Ambrosia Bar, you can settle down in front of the fire with the day’s papers and a glass of something good.

We offer accommodation in 131 rooms of various sizes and standards. The hotel is centrally located, next to the railway station. It has been a natural stopover for visitors to Bergen for 75 years.
