Gloppen’s hillwalking map has an impressive number of suggestions for hillwalks – and was named best in Scandinavia in August 2006. Nik. Hansen published his book “Dagens tur – året rundt” describing hillwalks in Gloppen all year round, a fascinating book covering 260 pages.

Eidsfossen waterfall is 33 metres high and has one of the world’s largest salmon ladders.
