Our host and hostess, Irene and Dag Moen, wish you welcome to one of the loveliest places in western Norway - the Gloppen Hotell, offering salmon, sea trout and deer. There has been a hotel on the present site since 1829. For the first few years there was only a coaching inn, but in 1866 the first part of the present building was erected, and the hotel was completed in 1921 and decorated in art nouveau style.

The hotel has 18 rooms that have been redecorated in the historical style of around 1890. In all, the hotel offers accommodation in 40 rooms, 25 of them from the old wing. The hotel is surrounded by a large garden which is at the disposal of the guests. There is a jacuzzi in the garden which maintains 38 degrees all year round. Gloppen Hotell has two restaurants in the six summer months, one à la carte and one serving snacks.

Accommodation visitors will be well looked after by the host and hostess and the staff. Welcome to our hotel!

The hotel has course and conference facilities and outdoor spa. Golf, fjord cruise, rafting, glacier climbing on the Jostedalsglacier, summer and winter skiing. Nordfjord Folkemuseum, Eidsfossen, Karnilstunet, Old Gimmestad Church, Russehola, Vereide Church. Close to famous fjords such as the Geiranger fjord and the Sognefjord.

Open: The hotel is open all year round. Closed at Christmas and New Year.
