The hotel is located here!
Fossheim was originally a staging inn. The hotel was opened in 1897 by the Garmo family, and has been restored and modernized several times, most recently in 1992.
Solid timber houses in keeping with traditional building techniques, together with art and antiques, help to create an interesting atmosphere you will most certainly enjoy. A grassy common among these old timberwalled houses characterizes these surroundings. We are especially proud of our "Gaukstadstugu", which is one of the bestpreserved timbered houses from the 17th century in Norway.
We are also proud to offer an excellent menu based on the choicest traditional cuisine. In summer you can enjoy outdoor meals at the hotel. We would be delighted to welcome you to our table.
