The hotel rooms are all individually named and each has a unique charm and style. The interior décor and textiles are designed in a beautiful palette of colours which calms both body and mind. In the English conservatory, guests can relax around the pool with views of the sculpture garden, surrounded by proud, ancient trees.

The predominant feature of the cuisine is locally sourced produce. Local ingredients are combined to create delightful dishes inspired by the rural cooking style of France and Italy. Engø Gård has a total of 60 beds divided between 24 rooms and six buildings, named as follows; Pensjonatet (Guesthouse), Årstidene (Seasons), Drengestuene (Farmhand’s rooms), Vinhuset (Wine house), Låven (the Barn) and Solstuene (Sunshine rooms). Drengestuene and Solstuene have 2 extra beds on a mezzanine. The rooms are not numbered but named according to the history of the different buildings. Each room has a unique charm and style, and individually designed colour combinations for interior décor and textiles.

Activities

Engø Gård has its own boules court and a private tennis court. Guests can borrow cycles from the reception, or set off on foot to explore the islands, coastline and meadows surrounding Engø Gård.

Tjøme has an idyllic golf course, recently expanded with 1.3 km and now the only golf course in Norway with a Double Nine design and par 72. It is also unique as it remains open almost all year round due to the mild climate. Tjøme Golf course has an idyllic rural setting around 10 minutes by car from Engø Gård.
