Fjällnäs resembles an exclusive mountain refuge where you can experience the startling and wonderful contrasts of nature. At 820 metres above sea level, we have 8 different seasons which bring breathtakingly beautiful changes to the unspoilt wilderness lying right on our doorstep. Breathe the crisp, fresh air deep into your lungs and quench your thirst with pure water from the clear mountain lake nearby. The first visitors came to Fjällnäs more than 130 years ago to explore the clean, unspoilt mountain landscapes – and continue to do so today.

We source the produce for our menus from the local countryside and transform them with loving care into gastronomic delights, inspired by the rich culture and history of the area. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in a relaxed atmosphere on the banks of the Malmagen lake.

Visit our Mii Gullo Spa, Hot tub or enjoy the great outdoors: wonderful walks in summer and winter, one of the best network of cross-country trails in Sweden with the "Nordic SkiCentre" on your doorstep, one of the largest downhill skiing centres in Sweden, driving dog sleighs, organised snowmobile safaris, cycles for hire, rowing boats, fishing. We also have our very own chapel for weddings and christenings etc.
